undervolting pin mod?

im wondering if anyone knows or has a link on how to undervolt the cpu via pin mod (my mb has no vcore adjustment)

I searched and searched the only link I can find is how to increase vcore
link for vcore increase via pin moddin

im trying to decrease the vcore on my htpc @ stock speed (1.8)

Check the BIOS, or try CPU-z to find the voltage.

I don't think most MBs let you decrease the voltage, if the MB supports EIST you could try softmodding the CPUs voltage. Try RMClock http://cpu.rightmark.org/download/rmclock_235_bin.exe

current stock voltage is 1.325 ish

now here's a question should I pop the e2160 into my wife's p35a mb and find out whats the lowest it will run (stable with ortho)
or dont even bother because it's a different mb and just because it will run at xxx it does not mean it will run in my p55g @ xxx

?

voltage is 1.325 under cpuz
the p55g does not offer any v-core adjustment :(

but I never knew about this RMClock I will be testing this this week end!!

Try out RMClock first. If it works, then no need to do anything else.
