B-flat instruments are one of the easiest. You just read it as a whole step higher.

:) still, the fact that I learned the coordination to move my fingers and lips to make the music is impressive enough for me. I've tried to play the piano, but it just requires too much coordination for me (even after lots of practicing). Adding an extra layer of brain work would really screw me up :D.

This may seem obvious, but a clarinetist who sees a C on the page will play a note that does not sound like a C to the other players.

In the end it still sounds right to those listening. You are making it sound they are off-key
