What type of undershirts is everyone wearing? I bought a bunch of the Stafford Premium Weight shirts years ago and I like them a lot, but they're getting dingy and need replacing. Seems like they've replaced these with a newer product that a lot of people don't like as much. Who makes the best "thick" undershirts for a reasonable price?

I have six Ralph Lauren undershirts. Super soft and well made. They're also $17 each.

Why would you want thick undershirts?

I'm not picky. Although Hanes kinda sucks, despite probably selling more shirts than anyone else. But they're still wearable

covington (by sears)

they're the only shirts i can buy in a multi-pack that have the XL-T designation. Hanes are way too short, and they feel like sandpaper compared.

I don't wear undershirts.

Usually my shirt are thick enough. If they aren't then the office can enjoy the view of my nips for all I care.

I wear undershirts when I am in uniform, Hanes Comfortsoft. They work fine for me.

I only wear wife beaters, and that's only when my nipples show through my shirt.

My biggest gripe is with the length, as they seem to be short more often than not. But I have a mix of white Hanes, gray Fruit of the Loom, multiple colors of FotL and Gap. Gaps are nice and thin and light, but more expensive. I don't wear them all the time, as it's sometimes nice just having a single shirt on.

I never wear undershirts, in the summer I want less clothes not more, and in the winter I'm fine with a t-shirt and a pull-over and a warm jacket when going outside.

Why exactly do you want a thicker undershirt? Wouldn't that make your body hotter? Usually they are kept thin to minimize bulk as well.

Hanes' ComfortSoft A-shirts ("wifebeaters") are fine for me.

None... I wear a white t-shirt every once in a while, but my nips show right through if I arch my spine back, so I try not to wear at office anymore.

hanes or fruit of the loom whichever is cheaper at walmart

This. No undershirt under a lacoste type material chafes my nips.

Thinking of switching to wife beaters though, are the necks as small as regular tshirts? Thats what I prefer.

Similar experience on the length issue, and I found that Calvin Klein shirts don't have that problem.

I'd try the Costco brand ones, but they don't appear to come in V-neck.

Calvin Klein if I want something thin/light for the summer; Gap if I want something with a normal t-shirt weight.

Costco ones are nice, wife just bought me some a few weeks ago to replace my staffords.

I always wear one, far better than replacing my expensive dress shirts.
