Poor lil feller! Every time he sits down, he has high risk of self injury!

Nope, still don't get the reference.

I have a paper map, I'm not sure how old it is but I just found it.
For some reason it was in with my tax papers. I plan to put it in my car.

Oh and I'm going to take a nap now...I've been attempting to supplement my food with vitamins/minerals but it seems the lack of calories is making me lethargic.

I like Fiona Apple. Very bluesy jazzy mixed with... well I don't know. Her style is unique.

I loved her first 2 CDs done with Patrick Warren & Jon Brion who've also worked with Michael Penn and Aimee Mann. Her later stuff is more hit or miss for me.

Upright Citizens Brigade. It was a TV show in the 1990s.
They are from Chicago. They have a live theater in New York and their show continues to this day at the UCB theater.

One of their sketches was about a character "Little Donny", he was a kid who had a huge dangler, but was not aware of how huge his dangler was ...
So, he had a strap for when he want on his bicycle, so that it didn't get all tangled up in the gears/chain.

A foundation called the little Donny foundation, paid for him to go to a "titte brothers" concert.

Good calls on XTC and King's X. The under-appreciated angle always needs context. If I'm talking with my Dad, who was my main influence on musical tastes, I'm going to go far more obscure with a recommendation of under-appreciation.

If I'm talking with someone <~30, I'll throw out the Beach Boys, Jeff Beck, Mountain, Zappa, Beatles, The James Gang and others all day long. In my experience, those acts are not well represented with younger people.

To me this almost seems like a 'Post your favorite band that others might not have heard.' kind of thread. I apologize if that's not the case, but context is key.

My picks: Henrik Freischlader, Ry Cooder and Mike Doughty.
