Underclocking the PCI bus?

What type of perforance hit will doing this incur? If you have the FSB set to 150MHz and the PCI divider set at 1/5, giving you a PCI bus of 30MHz, will this hurt performance? Or is it better to just run the PCI us at 37.5 with a 1/4 divider?

37.5Mhz would be faster if it's stable for ya (try it out, it's not out of question).

30Mhz will still probably be fast enough if you aren't really overloading your PCI bus.

30Mhz = 120MB/s
33Mhz = 133MB/s
37.5Mhz = 150MB/s

I've never seen 37.5 cause any problem.
