Underclocking PC2100 to PC1600

Is this easy to due? I just bought a Gigabyte 7DXC (AMD 761 DDR Chipset) cheap from overstock.com and this version (came out very early on) only supports 200FSB Processors. I've heard that it has problems with PC2100. So I bought some PC2100 since it's almost the same price. I'd rather have the future option to set it back to PC2100 in another 266FSB MB.

THE QUESITON: So is it as easy to set the PC2100@CAS2.5 to PC1600@CAS2 as it is to set PC133 to PC100. Just switch the numbers in the bios right?

Just wanted to make sure it was the same as SDRAM timings/speeds.

thanks
