Science Fiction has always had a need to have realism within certain exceptions made for the show.

Even fantasy. Imagine Lord of the Rings:

Gandalf, seeing Bildo had the One Ring, snatched it from him, teleported to Mount Doom and destroyed it. The end.

So, Gandalf didn't get to teleport.

In the book, slow diffusion of water and air across the barrier did occur. Anything more...energetic.... Not so much.
 
No only did the directionaly shaped charge moab seem odd in removing everything within line of site, don't recall that they were rocket propelled either.

I still want to know where the wind is coming from and where the water in the river is coming from and going to.
 
I want to say in the book they made a bigger deal about ponds building up on the outside of the dome where streams used to be and slowly diffusing in.

Wind would still be driven by sun light since that passes through the dome as well.

My only explanation of them getting this is... it is like watching a wreck...you just can't turn away, and you end up causing a chain reaction of a wreck,and that causes more and more...

Hey, I just made a new CBS hit series called, the wreck!
 
I can't stand lawlessness. I hope they hang those two bastards that ransacked the cafe. This show is getting weirder and weirder. Apparently those two kids are some how connected to the dome somehow. I was hoping for aliens. LOL!

I keep forgetting to say this. Big Jim and the reverend were both in the TV show Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Yeah, I dont see how any one acting like a jerk during the riot expected to keep on going afterwards. Even if it didnt rain, if someone stole my stuff I'd come after them. Doesn't everyone in town know each other? There is nowhere to hide. Especially those brothers...not bad enough they robbed the beloved barkeeper and killed her, but then he has to stop to rape that girl as well? The only one in town who didnt know who they were was Barbie, but he heard them say each other's name! lol In the next episode, they should have the town hang those guys.

This show is kinda dumb, but at least they didnt compound it by finding a way to kidnap that girl again.

I couldn't take it anymore last night. I've given up on it and won't watch it again.

It just keeps getting dumber and dumber.

Normally I'd agree with you...I just can't take it anymore. I'd rather spend the hour here if that's what it comes down to. lol
