Undelete Software

Hi

I am looking at getting an Undelete/File Recovery program to work with Vista 32bit. Does anyone recommend any particular software titles through personal use.

You could try these:

1. PC Inspector (FREE):

Just remember that any writes you do to a filesystem after you delete something potentially overwrite whatever you're trying to recover so you need to either install the recovery software before you need to recover something or you should put the drive into another machine with the software.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I have installed Recuva and it works very well. I have created copies of existing files, deleted them and each time Recuva has 'Recuvad' them for me.

I thought that I would have to puchase software, it makes me wonder what extra features if any the paid for programmes have to offer over this programme.
