damn. so people on here convinced me a 500W would be fine for my upgrade path. And the seasonic is the logical choice. however, i found a great deal on an enermax liberty 500W(about $30 cheaper) which i have also heard good things about.

Anyone have an opinion?

also, whats with the 12V rating on the Enermax(last page)? Does the 360(30A) mean a maximum of 30A on the 12V combined? even though each is rated at 22A?

If you want silence and somewhat better effenciy go w/ the seasonic otherwise the enermax liberty series is fine but the Seasonic is a better PSU

But Seasonic S12 series is known to have problem issues with several brands of motherboards.
Seasonic revised the psu recently, but the new rev has been found to still have the problem.

SOmebody on this forum raves about Seasonic because it has dual 120mm fans, quieter. Beware Seasonic. Apparently it's designed for Intel motherboard + Intel CPU, you can't rely on whether or not any individual psu will work right in other mobo/cpu brands - maybe maybe not roll the dice.
