Uncharted... Really ticking me off

Bump for total agreement. I just finally got around to playing this.

I made it to chapter 14 before I just had to give up. I really liked uncharted 1 and 2, but I honestly can't remember those games controls being the TERRIBLE. I feel like the character I'm controlling is drunk the whole time. The aiming is ridiculously poor, and the constant uninteresting gunfights against the dumbest fucking AI I have ever witnessed has ruined the series for me.

How this game got perfect 10's is beyond me. End rant. Enjoy the trash bin, Uncharted 3.

Uncharted 2 was the best of the series IMO. Yes, the controls in 3 were not good at all. Plus the final "boss" fight in 3 made me go wtf and ask if that was it.

I remember playing GeOW 2 and UC2 back to back and even though both were cover based 3rd person shooters I like gears aiming and weapons way better.

Uncharted is one of the most overrated franchises in the history of gaming. I know many people love it but it is like driving a truck through a movie when you play it.

But what do I know, right?

I bought it from my local Blockbuster; they were basically selling it for the same price that renting it would have cost so I thought "why not?".

I tried to play it for a night, but never went back. Having been a huge Tomb Raider fan throughout the early part of that series (and having spent way too many hours running around those levels) I just didn't have the patience to do it all over again.
