So can we unblock medium .com because the blockage of that website makes no sense to me at all right now. Is there something that I am missing about this situation? I also remember at least a few other ATers complaining about the blockage also.
 
It is on banned website list. I have no idea when it was put on.

My guess is that spammers were using this as a blog posting site to spam.

Then, they may have linked their blogs to Anandtech.

esquared is right. medium.com was censored because we got some blog spammers linking to the site. I checked and found that they do not appear to be a persistant source of Internet spam so, as you can see, above, I removed it from the cenorship list.

Note that, like any other site, it could be placed on the list again if we get a lot of spam traffic from them.

Thanks for raising the issue. It's how we follow up and learn in cases like this. 😎

Edit, works now!

I use a script on my WP blog and forum that uses data from stop forum spam so the idiots are blocked. Plus they have to get past the captcha and I hold new posts in a queue for me to approve. Seen a bot get a 200 in the log so he wasn't listed in the database, but couldn't pass the captcha. LOL

Wasn't Harvey the code name for the SR-71 or something? Have Blue was for the F-117A.
