If this would have been a movie/tv show that car would have already exploded. I am amazed there happen to be people with fire extinguishers on scene. How much do extinguishers costs? Are they one time use or can you have them refilled?

Fire extinguishers aren't very expensive...you can get a cheap, disposable unit for less than $20...or you can spend a bit more for a larger extinguisher that's refillable.

I have a box full of 20+ year old refillable units in my garage. Even though the gauges show they're still pressured up, they need to be serviced before I'd put them in a vehicle or my house and expect them to work right.

It was a good thing a couple of people had extinguishers as they were about to watch that person die. That is something I couldn't watch and I would risk getting burnt myself to help because watching someone die in a fire is something I could not do.

And nobody thought to use their expended metal fire extinguisher to break the glass on the white car.

Are you ever NOT an asshole? You've got people risking their lives to save a total stranger and your response is: "duh... u b all dumb and shit".

Seriously. Something is wrong with you.

yes because pulling someone through a opening with broken glass isn't a bad idea...
No because you can now reach the door lock and open the door. Besides it's better to get drug out of a broken window than to stay inside and burn to death.:eek::eek:
