ok so ill keep that in mind that i already have the "best." i shouldn't be on the lookout for more office deals.

i'm not asking for anything crazy anyway... just something so i can quickly preview a doc if I feel like reading my work email that much on my phone.

Office apps on mobile invariably are all weak. I only prefer Office Suite Pro myself because for some odd reason it was the only one that can open RTF's.

Thank you for the heads up. I've got QuickOffice for $ 0.99. Can't complain for the price. Hopefully future updates will improve performance and add more features!

Edit: What is up with these Office apps branching out different versions for phone and tablets? I get that the screen size is different but they all run on the same OS.

Edit 2: Office Suite Pro is also on sale for $7 instead of regular $15. And I found this app called Kingsoft Office 5.2 which is free, and seems to be liked by users. Does anyone know of the Kingsoft one?

Office suite pro is now @ $0.99 in case anyone's interested. Now I've got both office suite pro and quick office pro for $0.99 each as well as kingsoft office pro (free). Haven't got into the functionality test but none of them performs satisfactorily on nexus 7. Office suite pro is slowest at handling .doc files but fastest in xls files. Quickoffice seems fastest for .docs but not by much than the free kingsoft office.

I have 3 office apps and they are decent in some way and they are all lacking in some way.

Oh well that was quick. Yes it went back up to $15 i just checked. Try Kingsoft Office 5.2. It's no slouch and faster than Office Suite Pro scrolling .doc files.
