Unallocated Space in HDD

Hi, I just looked at Partition Magic and it showed 7.8MB of "Unallocated Space" for both my SATA drives...I never noticed this before. Is there a reason for this? Thanks in advance.

Dont worry during partation by default it takes 8mb and i hope you have mirroring.

Ok so I should just leave those 8MB alone right? And no, I have no RAID 1 if that's what you mean by "mirroring"...the SATA's are just standalone drives...
