Unable to watch videos while gaming, any ideas?

I've got an eVGA GeForce 7800GT, running Forceware 83.90. While playing World of Warcraft, I'd like to be able to alt-tab during raid downtime and watch videos using Media Player Classic. Unfortunately, the videos load and play, but I only get audio, no video. The same videos work perfectly when I'm not in the game. This issue is the same no matter what driver version I try.

Any ideas or suggestions?

try using VCL media player.. found here...

its free..it works as a dvd player aswell
its the best free program that plays all forms of media in my opinion.

I appreciate the suggestion, and I'll try that, but I doubt the player is the problem. I've had the same issue with Windows Media Player.

that player is much better than wmp. ive never used media player classic...but i have the same vid card as you and using vcl i have no problem alt tabing out of a running game (an activly running game) and playing a video...so atleast if you have problems still we know its something besides a weird driver conflict with the media player you use.
