strange problem happen to my system.... my xp unable to shutdown . ANy solution ? thanks

If you've disabled ACPI, make sure APM is enabled. This is under Display Properties->Screen Saver->Power Management (or something like that). Hope this helps.

Maybe theres a hardware device turned on and its stopping XP from turning off? Like a printer with que'd documents or something? maybe its a RAM problem, and its just worn out and slows down on Shutdown, how much ram you got?/what type?, try unplugging some hardware..

emm.. how to disable or enable acpi ? ( i found the acpi ... i didnt disable it )

I dont have old eze creator install in my computer....only have the new ez creator 5 for xp.
