Unable to share folders in windows xp remotely

hi all,
Unable to share folders in windows xp remotely when iam connecting to it from another system which has windows2000.
I suppose there must be some settings to do in windowsxp.
can anybody help me out in this.

Put the computers in the same workgroup. Do you have the folders shared in xp?
