Unable to right click and get 'copy'

When I highlight text and right click, I don't get any copy/paste options, just Back, Reload, Bookmark, Select all, etc. The words don't even appear.

What is going on?

Some websites disable this, to prevent plagiarism. There are ways around it, just google it.

Sometimes I get that error in Firefox. Not sure how to explain it but I'll highlight something as normal and somehow "misclick" or something and my right-click options show the back, forward, reload, etc options instead of the copy functions.

Have you tried re-highlighting and right clicking again?

It could be that some pages just disable the copy function.

View source is usually the easiest for me.

I purposely disabled that using the FF extension MenuEditor. If I want to copy something I use firebug either through inspect element or viewing transfer logs in the Net tab

One should use the keyboard shortcuts almost 99.9999999% of the time!
