Unable to get soundcard to take mic input from headset

So i have a razer carcharias headset, and i currently have it connected to my creative x-fi fatal1ty soundcard. My issue is that my computer cannot see any signal coming from the mic, and i know the mic works because i used it on my laptop. anyone have any suggestions as to how i can get this to work?
 
If you right click your volume icon in your task bar and click recording devices does your mic show up there and it is set as the default device?
 
Got it figured out, for some reason it isnt enabled in the drivers, and i managed to overlook it before. either way, it works now
