Im am logged in from another computer right now but the computer that I am having problems with (not mine) can't browse the web. I can log on to the internet via AOL (like I said, not my computer), but AOL browser does not work and neither does the standalone version of IE5. I know I am connected to the net because the chatrooms and other AOL "features" are loading up correctly. I have reinstalled the programs and went through Microsoft 2000's internet conenction wizard more than once. Still now luck. I also tried reinstalling the modem drivers (although I knew it probably wasnt the problem). My next move will be to install IE 5.5 and get the newest version of AOL.
The last time I had this problem with my comp, I just formatted and reinstalled Win2K but I doubt this is what she wants. Is there a way to fix this problem without reinstalling the OS? I'm sure there is. Thanks!
