I am unable to boot off my cdrom drive. I went and changed the boot device in my bios and selected the cdrom drive. I have my cdrom drives on secondary master and one on secondary slave. I made it so it will only boot off cdrom and it just says non system disk or some crap that u see when lets say your HD dont got on OS on it. When my computer boots it doesnt even try to read from teh cdrom drive there is no activity to it when i boot at all just goes directly to windows XP.

O Yes it used to boot off the cdrom drive no problem its just all of a sudden, couple months, hasnt worked.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

Which drive are you putting the CD in? It should be trying to boot off the secondary master drive.

I had the exact same problem with an asus board. We had connected one HD and CD, but the HD was allready formatted
to fat32 and the motherboard tried to boot from it everytime. We got it work after removing the HD completely from
the boot order in BIOS.
After that it would display the normal message (press yyy to boot from cd) and would work fine.
What happens after you press a key after it complains about the HD?

I have the same problem.
My PC won't boot off the CDROM either.
My config is a little more simple:
ABIT BE6-II with the HD as Master on one of the Raid controllers.
CDROM as Master on the first IDE controller.

Any advice short of buying new hardware would be greatly appreciated!
