The UN is out of control, they want to ban private gun ownership, and tax wealthy nations. Get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.

Well, the US isn't going to support that, less so than Kyoto. If you don't sign up, it does not apply. Want to see the number of stupid bills brought before Congress? Would make you shudder.

Nothing new, the UN has overtly had its aims set on eradicating small arms from private ownership for about a decade, if not more.

Just days after French President Jacques Chirac called for a a global tax on individual firearms purchases, the United Nations has announced it is gearing up to sponsor a global gun-control forum next month in New York City.
The UN is taking its advice from the French? No wonder they want to ban guns, the french have no use for it. White flags, now that's another story.

This statement,

support a global tax on individuals for every gun purchase they make.

made me fall to the floor in a fit of uproarious laughter!:D

Guess what country would wind up paying the overwhelming majority of funds into this scheme? Go ahead, guess.

Hmm, the same country that always is the target of all the UN's revenue generating and economy-burdening schemes?
