So, it sounds like there's going to a smaller neighborhood-isolated Critical Mass (biking event) Friday night and we might be joining in if he can find a bike for me. It's not supposed to start until 6:30PM, so if we do it, I wouldn't be able to make it on time to join you guys...plans are to meet at 8PM and then the bikers are going to the Winds Cafe in Logan Square. That being said, I don't know if we're doing it for sure and I might always be able to run into one or two of you later on in the evening as we're still trying to figure out late-night plans.

And I've spent the night at a motel where there was seriously not a single right angle anywhere in the room - door frame, wall corners, wall to ceiling... sometimes it's just nice to spend more $$.

6:30 on the nose sounds good to me. Coworker is leaving tomorrow for good so we're going to get a pint after work, that will give me some time to kill.

EvilYoda, hope you make it :)

whelp, looks like I'll have a bike. So no go...we don't have plans for the late evening though (going to Sonotheque on Saturday for Karsh Kale), so if anybody knows of any good house parties or small club parties going on, let me know.

As of right now, I won't be able to meet up with you guys. Sorries. Just schedule a meet during the Chicago Auto Show, I'll be here for 10 days, surely one will work out ;)

Wish I could go, but I'm nowhere near Chicago. Be sure to take lots of pics and post back here later!

I know, I know...but I'm in Chicago quite often, so like I said, set something during the auto show and if some of you are of the drinking crowd, you're more than welcome to crash in my room at the Omni.

plus, don't forget that I work with auto show models...they're bound to be around. ;)

Of course they are. ;) It just means that I'd be willing to put up with all their crap because they work as scantily clad models standing next to hot autos.

models....hot autos... *drools some more*

I don't understand, what does having a bike have to do with it? If you're in Logan Square just take the Blue Line (like I am from Wicker Park after work). I'm leaving my car here at work and I'll pick it up for the ride home.

anyhoo, I'll be showing up around 6:30 or so with Ms Zinfamous. I'll be done with work well before then, possibly tossing a few back with co-workers.

back a few pages re: his post about critical mass.

EDIT: btw, I suggest you not trying to walk from the blue line on chicago ave. it's depressingly far from water tower area. you can take the bus in from there, most likely.....the 66, I believe.

Go back a few pages to K1052's advice about switching to the Red Line ;)

Can anyone bring a camera? I've forgotten mine at home and I can't go home at lunch as I have to meet someone in Wicker Park to buy a motherboard. If you can't bring one, please say so hear and I'll go home after work and get it. I'll be late, but that's not bad as I can leave the car at home.
