heh, nope...just taking a few vacations before the season starts up. Chicago this week, New York next week and then my first show is Seattle at the end of the month.

At first I found it odd that you know what I do, but I guess I say it often enough.

I think we've made Saturday plans, but if you guys want to get together for drinks on Friday, I'm sure I can swing by for a bit.

vi_edit, I don't know what Dublin's is like but I'll ask people I know about it. It looks good. The places I can think of are in the River North area (e.g. Rock Bottom) which may be a bit out of the way.

Chicago isn't Arkansas. The only way you are going to find something that cheap is way way way outside the downtown area or in places that I'd fear for my life or safety of my vehicle.

It's in the Drake Hotel (one block north of the Westin the OP is staying at) and is a little nicer place. Been there quite a few times, drinks are a little pricier but are good and so is the food if you are inclined. Nice cozy place.
