Hey fellas.... look at my computer setup (LOL YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

This is just insane... Image in the power thats there....

OMG

wonder how much $$$ he poured into that.

is that a huge trackball to the right of the keyboard?? never seen one of those before.

Not really sure what all that stuff is, but it looks expensive...

You would think he would have some jiggy monitors on there, too..

Maybe a couple 50" plasmas...not those crappy ones..

And you would think that with that kind of money... one could get a decent black keyboard to match the setup.

If I had that kind of money, those computers would be in a separate, air-conditioned room. I'd setup the monitors, keyboards and mice in a room across a wall to block the noise.

seriously, he's got all these fancy speakers and stuff, but those racks must make a ton of noise. and a trackball? is he on drugs?

I don't know about the rest of it, but it looks like that is a huge trackball, and judging by that fact that the mouse alone cost over $100, the rest probably just goes up amazingly.

maybe this guy works with some sort of animation thing and needs the power?

silly to have all this stuff to just surf the web and listen to mp3s all day

Maybe all those racks are just empty boxes and some audio hardware?
I always begged to get a decommissioned Sun Enterprise 9000 case. It was the size of a fridge. The guy was like "What would you do with it?"
"Put my computer in it."
"None of the hardware would fit."
"No, I'd just put the whole computer inside that case and close the door...."

well in the racks on the top right are definitely 4 amps, look to be vtl tubes if i'm not mistaken
below that look to be some preamps, then below that an equailizer or something of that sort. not sure about most of the stuff on the left side though

That's too much money to invest in something that will be worthless in 5 years (well maybe not the racks and a few other components)

I have one. Kensington Expert Pro, looks like. Works great.

<< That just doesn't look good for the sperm count... >>

No, see, it's safe. You just have to wear one of the heavy lead aprons that they give you when you go in for an xray. 😉
