yet the only card i see for review is the 2900xt

Okay then, let's get started. We are starting off today with a quick overview of the actual cards announced. Although this day is all about the Radeon HD 2900 XT, there are four other cards announced as well. You will not see results of these cards before the 1st of July though. So that makes the 2400 and 2600 series a paper launch for now. Let's have a quick peek at them, shall we?

I know what you mean. Although I'm mad because they used it as a smoke screen to side step the fact that they had inferior hardware.

Where do I sign the petition to have Hector Ruiz tar and feathered?

I pray to all things edible that this is not any indication of the type of launch and performance we're going to see with Barcelona.

It's possible.

8600's shader power is what kills it I think and HD2600 is supposed to have 75% more theoretical shader power.

ALthough HD2600 only has a 128-bit bus, so who knows.
