Um, WTH, is this normal???

I'm absolutely not kidding at all. Alright I was a bit bored and I took a peice of electrical tape and put it on my chin like a goatee, took it off and now I have what looks like a 'cane' on my upper chin. WTF is going on? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!! I'm absolutely serious, I don't see any impressions in the electical tape so I don't get why I have this..
