Um...wtf, i just bought Medieval 2 Total war and am getting an error installing.

Everything is brand new and the discs are scratchless...

CRC error: data_0.pack doesnt match the one in the setups .cab.

Yeah...seems like it, this memory is messed up. i figured out how to get it to work though, it has to do with DMA.

Maybe you should install it on your PC, not on your console system?

This game was a terror to install. Likely thanks to the DRM as Kazaam stated or/and the file compression they used.

All problems point to the DVD drive. You can try search for a driver update for the DVD rom or:

ok, in a completely unrelated error to the first one....I CANT INSTALL THE 1.3 PATCH. WTF!? It says that data_3.pack is missing or invalid! how the hell is this possible? Honestly...wtf.
