I was looking for somewhere to buy the MX440 PCI 128mb video card, specifically asking if the card could be purchased and shipped overseas to USA. I e-mailed a Japenese website which listed the product and they sent me the following response. Perhaps they were using a translation program. Are they basically trying to say "No", and it's just getting garbled in the translation?

Yes, that's an Asian attempt at saying "sorry we don't ship to other countries". This mixture of being overly polite and having poor grammar control at the same time makes these letters quite a fun read at times 🙂

That "slang" is often seen in technical manuals too ... you get used to it.
 
Thanks. I thought it might be "No", but I couldn't be sure. Is it just me or do Asian countries get all the good OEM video cards long before we get them here?
 
Try a Radeon 9000 ... PowerColor will have theirs available everywhere by the end of the month, Hercules not far behind.
