Incidentally, I spent a little time researching commercial grade fireworks... WOW! They're cheaper than I expected! Also, Old Hippie, the biggest shells I could find were 12 inch shells. But, $1000 worth of commercial fireworks would put on a heck of a backyard show (provided it's a big enough back yard for the required safety perimeters, etc.) In addition to that $1000, there's also the permits, licensing, insurance...


One of the companies has a training seminar about an hour from me. It happened a couple months ago, but with any luck, they'll be back at the same place next year.
