Um, Did Anandtech vote the Nforce2 Epox as #1 or the Asus?

I'm looking at it

And it gave the Asus the Silver for high end preformance, and the gold in the Value to the Epox.

Sno now we have

Siler +High end VS Gold +Value

which would be higher? I'm debating right now b/c Mwave ran out of Epox's and i have to pick a new Mobo and i'm wondering whether to get a differnt mobo (its going to be a nforce2 board regardless...i want to try it out) or stick with the Epox.

Since most of the folks here on Anandtech are (arguably) cheap bastards, i think that's what the thought process was in giving the Epox the gold 🙂

The A7N8X would have gotten gold had they better Tech Support.

"This award does come with one caveat however; ASUS must improve their tech support policies, as their current non-response strategy is completely unacceptable. Very poor tech support is what kept ASUS from getting the Gold here."

Read the conclusion here.

BTW I love my A7N8X.

HRmm...I'm trying to find the best nforce2 mobo for 120 or less... 🙁

Now that MWave doesn't have it anymore I'm confused 🙁

Damn Anatech for making it more confusing!

Yes, but you have 150 dollars to blow 🙁

The only complaint about the nForce2 board I have is bad audio drivers for Win98. The audio would skip whenever I played a stream type file(.wav,.mp3,ect.) I had to put my old sound card back in.
