On second thought it looks like the mods have designated this the acceptable ultraviolet thread by locking all the others.

DONT WASTE MONEY... the movie was AWFUL... and this from someone who thought the 5th element was amazingly good.

Seriously the movie was just an absolute waste of an hour and a half of my life. They didnt even try to make it good....

Worst movie I have seen in a long time. The dialogue was severely lacking. There was one point in the movie where one of the characters said "I guess its on" and the other character actually answered this with "yeah (big pause) it is". Does this seem absurd to anyone else? By the point in the movie when they said that line I actually laughed out loud because it was so out of place. The special effects looked like the director let someones child do the editing and animation (lack of textures nothing really looked real from it) as well there is one sequence that really reminded me of a Janet Jackson music video (anyone remember that weird one where she was on a motorcycle?). I swear they copied this sequence in the movie directly from the music video and Janet Jackson should sue. I don't know how anyone could say that they actually enjoyed this movie and I did read a few good reviews before I went and saw it.... I guess they saw a different movie than I did.

I saw this movie over the weekend and it wasn't so bad. Granted, it is no Oscar calibered but it is a decent action movie. I think this one is better than Aeon Flux <the live action movie, not the MTV toon>.

The only thing I didn't like was when Violet spoke with the Asian gang leader. He spoke in Vietnamese <native tongue> and I didn't understand one word from Violet. It was even worse than John Wayne tried to speak Vietnamese in The Green Berets...LOL.
