when i play any game on one monitor and decide to fiddle on the other monitor (firefox, AIM, etc); the game minimizes. wtf, i don't want my game to minimize!

how do i stop from doing so?

this depends on what game youre playing. For example, playing WoW in windowed mode is perfect. Set it to windowed and maximized, you dont see the window borders, and you can mouse off easily for other monitor apps.

you obviously dont want to do that with games like FPS's and such, but i havent found a way to not make it minimize.

edit: BTW nice post count. 10000 on the dot. congrats, lifer.

if you game in full screen the mouse gets locked into the game and when you try to navigate out of range it will happen.

Just set for window mode and then maximize it. When i played WOW i did the exact same thing as Chapbass described.

You will just have to experiment.
