UltraBoard 2000 Vs UBB 5.46 - Your opinion?

I was looking for a good and reliable BBS for my website. After taking a look at some scripts, I shortlisted UltraBoard 2000 and UBB 5.46 . Both have very good features. But I can't decide which one to choose.

I liked FuseTalk forums too. But unfortunately they run only on Cold Fusion.

Which one should I go for? I need your opinion. If there's another script similar or better than UB2k or UBB 5.46 , please let me know.

VBulletin runs on PHP, and by far has the most features out of the three. It's also cheaper than UBB. So if your host offers it, I'd go for VBulletin.

ubb for me too....its the best out there....I like fusetalk as well.....

You guys really should check out VBulletin. It incorporates ALL the features of UBB (even hacked ones) into a PHP board. So you get all the functionalities of UBB but more features and MUCH faster speed.

I second the suggestion of

It uses PHP with a Mysql backend. Faster than UBB, and MUCH more customizable (all the pages are based on templates)

HardOCP switch to vbulletin. Not only is it SLOWER than UBB for them, it continually gets overloaded, even with a powerful server. It can't handle a load like UBB.
