Ultra X-Finity 500W $25 after MIR

Not as good as the Outpost.com FAR deal for the titanium colored one, but since that deal is dead this is the best one going right now. This is a nice PSU especially for $25 or less.

I realize this 🙂

It is a nice power supply. I got the one on the Outpost rebate deal. Still waiting on the rebate, I guess I can use it for my retirement.

I got the Outpost deal, too. I quite like the PSU -- it's very quiet driving my Opteron 165 system. The online rebate registration, with the barcoded mail-in label, worked perfectly, and my rebate was approved in just over a week.

I was approved too, 2 weeks ago, but it says nothing yet about a check being mailed. Did you get your rebate check?

Nope -- the email said it takes 8-10 weeks to mail the check, after the rebate is approved 😉 OnRebate offers "premium" service where they'll mail it sooner, for a price, or they can deposit it to your Paypal acct.

Gee....I've been ordering stuff from ZZF daily for a week now: For the love of God!! Make it stop!! :disgust:

I'm in for one....Thanks OP

I found this out the hard way. My guess in an attempt to get people to use their "Express Rebate" service OnRebate appears to camp out on rebates where the service is not used. For instance I submitted several rebates back on 7/20, they "received" them on 08/16 and the checks have yet to arrive and it has been 84 days.

In contrast, I tried the "Express Rebate" option for one of those FAR PS's. It cost $2.50 on that product (Cost seems to vary on by the rebate amount as it is $3.50 for the Ultra cases) I submitted that rebate on 09/13, they "received" it on 09/21 and the check arrived 9/30. 17 days after I sent it.

As a side note, I remember on all the last Express ones I sent the label had the Express Rebate icon on it. I know they make a big deal out of cutting out and using the label from their rebate form. My guess is they have a similar system to the IRS, you know where the envelopes have the "Refund" box you check on the outside that routes the envelopes to a "holding" area before processing. ;-)
