ultra tiny linux system for web browsing

Yeah I've always thought it was kind of silly how as the size and complexity of a computer decreases the price increases. I guess it is such a niche market manufacturers are able to charge so much. Pretty neat but just not worth it to me. More of a novelty than anything else IMHO.

That is only a Geode Processor. It is like a souped up Palm Pilot. Could do the same thing with one of those smaller Mini-ITX or Pico-ITX motherboards. It is very interesting if you like a 500Mhz Toy.

How many US Dollars is 280 Euros plus Vat?

I think Dell can sell you a Celeron or a Pentium 4 for that price.

Here is the Gum Stick Computer.

You could almost get a MAC Mini for that price. Heck, small IDE based SSDs can be had for less than $50 and VIA based Mini ITX systems aren't too expensive and provide much more functionality.

$372 or less can get you a WII, a Basic Dell/emachine, or some used computer for general web surfing.

$388 can get you a NEW Full Fledged PC!
