Invalid deal. Friends don't let Friends McAfee rebate at TD.

Requires giving them a valid CC number, installing their software, then remembering to cancel the auto-renew 10 months later. Not worth it at any price.

Edit: Thanks anyways, for the effort. It is much appreciated.

If you don't wanna go for the McAfee theres yet another offer

ULTRA ROGUE M925 FULL-TOWER CASE

Expires: 5/16/2015

:)

Thanks. Now that's a much more reasonable (doable) deal.

Edit: Free Shipping too!

I don't do rebates (much), but this case intrigues me. It reminds me of my Rosewill BlackHawk quite a bit, except that it has 8 3.5" HDD bays instead of only 6.

I was thinking of re-configuring my unRAID server, using a NIB A85X mobo I have. It supports 8 SATA6G ports, which would go well with this case. Just need a CPU, and PSU, too.

Actually a handy little tip I picked up from someone on SD, I was able to set up the auto-renewal off a blank rebate card (rebates feeding more rebates!) so no issues there. Also the check came within 2 months so you could just cancel then and there!

I already have 7 extra cases lying around currently so no real need for it this time around, did just pick up the OCZ Arc 100 240GB deal with the same McAfee rebate.

Good tip, but I have seen at least one posting in deal forums claiming Tigerdirect or McAfee sent someone who did this to a collection agency. Apparently that person didn't bother to cancel the autorenewal, but still. Remember they have your real name and real address even if they have an invalid CC number.

Personally I think there are too many reputable and quality vendors out there, and life is too short, to risk the aggravation and frustration on dealing with TD.

OP-it is a common courtesy to mention TD in the headline of any deal posting involving them, so the sizable portion of the audience that will not deal with TD under any circumstances don't waste their time opening the thread.

I think TD wised up and removed Free shipping. I was going to pick one up but now decide against it.

Brilliant. So simple. Why didn't I think of it?

Thanks for that tip.
