This is a great case, especially for free. I have one I used for my HTPC build along with a FAR Ultra 500 watt PSU. The rebates came back without a hassle.

That is hilarious. No Free Shipping for YOU!!!!

I bought another. I actually really like these cases and for $9 shipped, shoot, can't beat it.

rofl. I like how they put in big bold that free shipping isnt gonna be available. I guess they know how the deal whores like us do things lol.

These cases are great if you're not paying over $20-30. They are very attractive, IMO. Plain, black (unscrew/remove the hideous silver "Ultra" logo though).

I disagree that they're well made, though. The metal is pretty thin. You can't push too hard when snapping in your backplate, for example, or it easily bends outward. And be careful around the case or you'll get cut...too many sharp edges. Also, installing a hard drive directly into the case causes a vibration/hum. I suspended my hard drive in the CD bay using rubber bands...it's ultra quiet now.

Aside from those issues these are decent cases. For $9 shipping AR it's a great deal, for $0 it's super hot. I don't need the case so I'm going to hold out for free shipping. If they never offer it, I'll likely never buy it.

Exactly. When I was prying out the preinstalled backplate that comes in the case, I was afraid that I was going to bend the rear side of the thing so badly that the MOBO wouldn't fit properly.

On the other hand, I didn't have many problems with sharp edges and the case provides tons of room for wiring to be hidden properly.

OT: Does anyone know if this thing is big enough for a huge GPU such as the 8800GTX?

Is this a first? That they put 'no free shipping' in the item description? Hilarious and seems out of place for a company like frys.

I certainly hope that this isn't the end of free shipping on FAR Ultra stuff. That would truly suck.

Outpost is down? I can't connect to outpost.com or through the link on the front page. zomg I need this case!1 🙂

Edit: Up as of now. I ordered one for my Crysis build. 🙂

Looks like a decent little case. I ordered 1. Hopefully frys doesn't cancel on me like they did with the last hot deal.
