having the HD cables pressed against the window/side panel is common in most cases with sideway HD cages, including my Antec Sonata, Lanboy and TT Shark; the only solution is to make wider, but uglier cases. As it is, the Alumina is fairly well constructed (who needs a manual to use the box, anyway?)--flimsy but light. Not too suitable to take to a lan party due to its full size--but quite good for a stationary server (the lightness makes it easy to pull it around). For the price after rebate, I highly recommend it.

I got the blue version, but haven't received the rebate yet.
The case is really nice. The window is a little blinged up for my taste, but the thing is as light as a feather.
I'm going to find a tasteful handle and install it on the top. 🙂

As it is, my SATA cable is pressed against the window. I guess it was design for those with right angle cables.
😕

If you mount your hard drive with the SATA connectors facing away from the window, you won't have that problem. I believe that's how they were designed to be mounted.

Ok, stupid me. I'll reverse the orientation of the HD.
