Ultra 512MB PC3200 DDR for $19.99 AR!!

OnRebate owes me a $10 "bonus" rebate on a Tiger multiple rebate ram deal. Won't put a person on the phone, 20+ minutes on hold, each time I tried callling. Email gets an autoreply promising a follow up email, which never arrives. Subsequent emails are not answered.

Got all my other OnRebates, but they are an unethical company, and I am glad that I'm only out ten bucks. No more ONRebate Tiger deals for me.

Good deal if your rebate is processed and paid ok. I'd buy one, if they hadn't cheated me out of ten bucks. Last Tiger PC3200 Ultra stick running fine at 234 Mhz with Aeneon chips.

I'll pass on a rebate from TigerDirect. So with $5 shipping, this is $45 less a $20 rebate. I can get 512MB DDR from newegg starting at about $35. $10 less up front, and I don't have to fight TigerDirect for a rebate.

Good deal for those who don't mind a rebate, and/or have had some good experience with TD.

haha, I've had good experiences with TigerDirect, so I'm not afraid to do business with them....yet. The rebates are a pain, but it's worth it in the long run, if you can hold on for the long run, that is.

i wish TD go bankrupt and never do business again. if a dealer promise rebates they need to fulfill it not just do half the job.

I know rebates are a huge hassle, but you simply can't beat $20!! Shipping is about $5, but even $25 is a deal!

TigerDirect 512MB DDR RAM for $20

you can beat $20.00 for 512mb pc3200 just last week, Circuit City had 512mb PC3200 Kingston value ram for $20.00 after rebates, so this is no big deal, much rather not deal with Tiger Direct.

and i have gottem 512mb for $15.00 after rebates before.

So your saying this is a good deal for no one... 😛

You'll save $20 on the memory. But you will spend at least 3 hours getting the rebate. If you're happy working for $6.67/hr or less then go for it.

I was hoping TD really cleaned up their acts with their new rebate gurantee thingy or whatever its called. The jury is still out, I suppose.

The TD "Rebate Guarantee" also has its own list of requirements on top of the requirements you have to fullfill for the rebate. In other words, more hoops to jump through.

I can understand where the concern comes from, but I have had nothing but ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL experienced with Tiger Direct and their rebate process. It's simple - just follow their instructions (it's not that hard, unless you have the reading capacity of a 2nd grader) and you'll get your rebate. Can even track it online. I've successfully received about 10 rebates from them in the past year. One of those rebates was on two sticks of this RAM that is currently in my machine right now, and they run great, even have them running Dual Channel. Ultra just brands their RAM - the sticks that came to me were Elixir.
