Ultimate Quiet Case

Just found this over at Directron in their list of future products, a completely noiseless case that contains no fans whatsoever, and that includes the psu !

TNN computer is the world's first absolutely noiseless computer since it does not use ANY cooling fans. Not even in the power supply. It is developed with heatpipe technology, HSC (Heat Source Contact) power technology, high-capacity press Technique, and FMS (Flexible Mouning Structure) Design Technology. It is something you have never seen or heard before. The entire case functions like a giant heat sink.

Feature: Completely enclosed case. No noise (except the noise from the drives, which is also reduced). No dust. No electomagnetic field interferece. Semi-permanent life cycle. Stable system. Low maintenance Cost. Various Options (Redundant Power, UPS, SDRAM Disk, No-Fan Amplifier, Powermeter, Voltmeter, Security System). Recyclable Aluminum Case and User Friendly Heatpipes (made of copper and water).

I just can't image how heavy this case will be once you have all your hardware installed nevermind the case itself !
Cost will be very high it seems 🙁

With the price of fanless PSUs already through the roof, I'd guess this case would cost you $400-$500.

I'd expect that or maybe more but one good thing about this is it'll make everyone else situp and take note and add some competition to the mix and help bring down prices, especially as cpu's get faster and hotter requiring more cooling with less noise.
