I'm voting Chicago. Both have their merits, but the NY fanboys are more annoying and must be punished.

Edit after voting: Ooooo, close battle! 25:27, Chicago winning at the moment, with 3 weirdos liking Dominos.

I live in Chicago, so I have to pick New York.

Appropriate amounts of cheese, whether it be on pizza or any other consummable, is a foreign concept to the average Chicagoan.

good stuff, but deep dish is the only tolerable type of pizza you can get in this town. all else is crud

guys, this is REALLY important lol

does that pizza look fairly authentic?

//edit

lol wrong link

Ugh, go back to to the original picture for NY style, or find a better one than that. Proper pizza toppings are meat, not whatever kinds of fruit and leaves are on that thing.

Maybe you should go check your pizza history and analyze the significance of tomato and basil on pizza 😉

proper pizza toppings? you mean the toppings on the 1st pizza ever thats shown in that picture?

Chicago > NY > everything else except canadian pizza > Canadian pizza (I swear they use straight up ketchup for sauce)

I love thin crust pizza. maybe because i can eat more of it, its not so quickly filling like deep dish or thicker crust pizza.

I don't even consider Chicago style to be a Pizza. Its closer to a lasagne than to a pizza in my mind.

i grew up working in an italian pizzaria, i would agree. sure, i live in the desert and you probably think me clueless about real pizza, but the restaurant i worked at was owned by two guys, one from chicago the other from new york. they used to have this argument all the time, and supply much food as examples. the funny part is, the pizza they served was nowhere near either. i love thick pizza as well as thin, and many toppings makes it a good pie. the stewed tomaters on top is a deal breaker for me. sauce goes on the dough, cheese and then more stuff on top of that.

is my fave pizza place in phoenix area, the vid they have there shows their pizza. awesome.
