Who watched this flick and was very happy with Hulks performance? He always Delivers!!! He single handedly destroyed the avengers.

I don't get this new Ed Norton Hulk movie. Why was the previous one so bad that they want to delete it from existence?

None of it is really obscure... The Ultimate Avengers is an animated comic book story based on the Ultimate world which has been shown on Cartoon Network. He also referred to the upcoming Hulk movie and the prior Hulk movie. None of it really qualifies for obscure.

I enjoyed the Ultimate Avengers movies. I hope they continue putting them out. Has there been more than 2 yet?

No just the two that I know of... I guess Ironman animated movie might count. It wasn't as good as the avengers movies partly because Ironman is a kid starting out and his enemies are Japanese demon spirits so it's hard to believe/follow.

I personally thought that the Ang Lee Hulk movie was one of the more interesting marvel movies. CG and all.

Sorry for no link??? I imagine that if you know about the Ultimate Avengers you probably heard the news at Comic Con 2007 that Ed Norton had written the new Hulk screenplay and is a big fan of Marvel.

Chinese actually...the enemy was The Mandarin. One of Iron Man's chief arch-enemies.

Though, they completely ruined the back story of The Mandarin.

It was alright but by no means great.

I think a lot of people didn't like the hulk movie because they took a beloved character (one that holds a special place for a lot of people more so than other chars) and made it into a "blockbuster" style movie. Many felt that the Hulk shouldn't have been treated in such a way and would have preferred a treatment more like Hellboy received. (A visually interesting [not overblown] movie with a complicated, emotional and delicate storyline).

They didn't want popcorn thrill ride. They wanted a comic opera. That is what everyone hopes for with the new Norton verison. They see his previous treatment of complicated characters and rejoice.

I didn't think too much of UA 2 though. Even in HD it didn't engage me.

I'm one of the few people who actually agreed with the critics about the Hulk movie. Keep in mind that a lot of critics gave it A and A- which are heaps and bounds beyond your typical superheroe movies. Too bad the audience didn't agree.

Ang Lee's Hulk is not a "blockbuster" style movie. It's more of a drama focusing on the inner struggle of Bruce Banner and his relationship with his father. Like most of Lee's movies it's more character driven than your standard Hollywood fare. I took a date to see it and she was bored out of her mind. A popcorn thrill ride it is NOT.

The action part of the movie unfortunately is too cheesy. The CGI f/x was definitely not up to par with other movies. I'm pretty sure a lot of people were turned off by it after seeing the preview.

Aside from the poor f/x I thought it was a very good movie with strong characters and an above average plot. Hellboy, as you mentioned, was average at best.

WHAT?!?! Hulk CG was GREAT!!! All that dirt and water effects on his skin was the greatest for 2003. I didn't find it boring at all!!!

I don't think he really has a dark side. He's sarcastic more than anything else.

Tony spark has always been one to wonder about. With the recent story lines it really makes you wonder. they hinted that he was part of the reason that started the "Civil War" (more like bitch slap fest). they hinted that he made a chemical that caused dome to go nuts with more powers. Also may have been the one to make the "fake" spiderman.

Not to mention him sending the hulk to a diffrent world and then blowing it up heh.

Yeah, but it's more like businessman cool as opposed to anst a la batman.
