***Ultimate ATOT Marvel Hero Battle***

Alright, so I wanted to do this bracket style tournament of 16 super heroes from the Marvel Universe and we vote for one to advance until we have a winner. There will also be a losers bracket so if your hero gets knocked out he has a chance to win the loser's bracket and then face the winner of the bracket to become the champion.

However for today, we will have a nomination period. So everybody will have 3 nominations, and your first nomination will be worth 2 votes since it should be the person you want to get in most. If you do not understand the nomination process, then refer to my example below.

My Nomination:

Captain America (2)
Hulk
Dr. Doom


Please keep your nominations limited to the Marvel Universe and not the Ultimate. You can obviously pick heroes or villains, but don't nominate a variation of a hero (i.e. World War Hulk, Hulk-Buster Iron Man, etc.). Alright so get to it, the nomination period ends this Wednesday September 24th, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. PST.

EDIT: I discourage picking celestials, any form of higher beings or cosmic beings other than silver surfer. This is not a 1on1 battle scenario because there are situations that favor certain individuals and other situations that would favor the other. The highest 16 get in, that's all.

Well, pretty much the War World Hulk has laid waste to the entire Marvel universe, so this is really a moot issue. Nobody can beat him.

Ghost Rider (remember, he came within a dog's breath of murdering WW Hulk but only changed his mind and rode away at the last minute)

Hardly seems to make sense, as who I nominate is based on the criteria. What if you decide the criteria is people in spandex get -10?

Ok cool, good to see this has taken off...Hopefully it will stay bumped. I have to go to school, will return at about 2:00 P.M PST to moderate, so to everyone just nominate 3 heroes...Don't start any arguments or explain why your picks are better than someone elses, just nominate your 3 favorite. I think you guys will like this idea once it is underway.

but i agree with jonks. whats the criteria? just most powerful? coolest? whatever?

can they have something like the infinity gauntlets? etc?

during secret wars molecule man was considered the most powerful person in marvel universe. now he is a foot note.
