This game was before my time so could never get into the dated graphics, which by now are so crude that I wont even bother.

Now Ultima 7....I would totally buy that. That game was epic.

I've got the old Ultima Collection disk, but many of the games are unplayable b/c of processor speeds and OS changes, so I grabbed this just for W7 compatibility.

Ah, classic! Back when quality trumped graphics. If only this were true these days, we'd actually have good games to play.

Everyone considers Ultima8 to be a bit weird, but I loved it. Glad they chose to go with the same art style for another game I played like a maniac - Ultima Online.

Ultima 4 is just slightly too dated for me to get into. Anything that looks worse than M&M3 I can't usually get past .

This is the first game I ever remember being hyped to a large degree. I was 8 years old and it was like 1985... I remember everybody talking about "Ultima 4".... "It asks you questions to determine your character class, that is so cool."

Never played it, as I never had money to buy it and I don't even think we had a disc drive at the time to pirate it (only a tape drive).

Hum. But would you play it today given how dated the graphics are .... and how they look on large monitors.

They're simple iconic 2d graphics. They hold up better than that of a lot of more modern but still old games, especially old 3D games.
