Really stuck with what GPU solution to power this build, I had my heart set on 120Hz Monitor but would really want to get the best out of it. The 670 SLI seems the best bet rather than go for any higher end graphics cards (and for the budget). In the meantime until I have the opportunity to get another 670 I will toy around with the settings to see what mix of frame rates and quality I can achieve to see what's satisfactory.
The basics of the build:
CPU: i5-3750k £177.8
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 £112.52
RAM: Samsung 8GB DDR3-1600 £48.6
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 2GB £323
SSD : Samsung 830 256GB £149.1
Blu-Ray: LG £45.48
PSU: XFX Core 750W £76.34
Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi £79.01
Cooler: Corsair H100 £81.14
Total: £ 1092.99
To be added later:
HDD : 2TB Seagate 7200RPM £77.04
Soundcard : Asus Xonar DGX £26.97 or Creative SB Recon3D £53.98
And of course, another GPU.
How would the case I linked cope with an SLI setup? I'm going to have a push pull top mounted H100 (intake) plus two front intakes with the rear and possibly the side as exhaust (I'd like a positive set up for my quite dusty room).
The help and advice has been awesome, cheers guys
