We are starting to get spoilt for choice here in the UK,first the ASUS A7V133 was out real quick, along with the Abit KT7A & now the MSI K7T TURBO-R.

the Kt7A is around 150 and a MSI turbo will not cost more than that

if it is more expensive than abit i will grab a Abit

Mem I was back in the UK for Xmas/new year...from what I see you are not in least bit "spoiled" for choice - the only way you are "spoiled" is that you are generally spoiled with a very poor selection of goods at an inflated price :(

But that's the policy back home, "shaft the b@stards first time - they might not be back" hehe....

I had a good look at all the stuff on offer in the "discount" warehouses etc. Video cards seem way overpriced as a good example - but I will say things do seem to be improving in the last few years. :)

gtd 2000,First what I meant was the new models are getting over here pretty quick in UK(note I said "spoilt for choice" not price)a happy phrase, next I never said anything about prices being the cheapest etc in that post, also most of the best prices for UK hardware is at UK websites, the only reason I posted the news on MSI board is there are UK Members here that are interested in it,so lighten up.

:)

Woo touchy touchy.....
If you actually re-read my post and then engage the grey bit inside the cranium you may well notice a fair dose of sarcasm in my post. Hints like "hehe" and even a :) might give you a clue.

Maybe you couldn't concentrate/interpret due to being spoiled for choice - who knows...?

Anyway now that we've got that out the way - how are ya? :)

In all honesty I've mainly looked at the stuff in the mags, the UK websites may well offer better deals than those that I saw.

For a limited selection of dealers have a look at this site for a price comparision in Hong Kong. To change to Sterling divide by 11 to give a reasonable exchange rate.

Hehe I work about 2 minutes drive from MSquared. I bought a 1.2Ghz TBird from them just yesterday. :)

I went for the KT7A-RAID though.
