Just wondering if there were many people from the UK that use this site. I started using AT when I was living in the States, and still find it much better than most UK based tech sites. Anyone disagree?

P.S. Does anyone know of good deals sites (Like The Hot Deals one here) for the UK? I keep finding myself drooling over stuff that I just can't get over here. Maybe I need a bib...

I find that Anandtech is generally one of the better, if not the best, hardware review sites on the net these days. We don't really have anything in the UK that's as good; the most notable one I can think of is bit-tech.net, but that's full of 1337-m0dd!ng-skillz - type people, so it's a bit of a chore to read.

Anandtech is certainly one of the best sites though I only really come here for the forums and the witty reparté with our American counterparts 😉

Meh, the website's a bit of a mess (not that I'm saying that I could do better, merely that I have the right to criticise 🙂), and it's all a bit 1337 for me.
 
Glad to see I'm not alone, though there still don't seem to be that many people. I have to agree with the "too techy to understand" statements, AnAnd is just about right for me. I find you can generally rate how much you need to understand by the crappy spelling and number of funny symbols!!!!$$!!!$!! (If I spell anything wrong in this short statement, it was on purpose. Really..)

edjam waves from South Wales, yes, South Wales:0) I don't think there are too many Welsh ATer's, that REALLY narrows it down.

To look for best prices I find pcindex.co.uk is pretty good, except I usually buy from eBuyer anyway.
