Is it chicken pox that you get as an adult that might cause sterility?
Reye's syndrome is a disorder that causes sudden and dangerous liver and brain damage. It is a very rare complication of chicken pox and other viral infections in children who take aspirin. Symptoms of Reye's syndrome include rash, vomiting, and confusion beginning about a week after the onset of the viral illness. Reye's syndrome can lead to coma and even death. Fortunately because of strong warnings against children taking aspirin, this condition is almost nonexistent today.

Apparently, I'm not adult enough for it. The endlessly entertaining thought is that virtually everything it could possibly be is spread through contact. I havn't been within 2 feet of anybody that looked remotely sick for more than 2 weeks. It was exam week, then a long, snow-bound 5-day weekend, and then I went to school yesterday (And I don't think it takes less than 2 hours for any symptoms to appear, by the time I got home, I already had blisters on my right man-boob.

Shingles and chicken pox are caused by the same virus. When one has had chicken pox, one does not get shingles unless the immunity has slipped to a low level with the passing years and one is re-exposed to the virus. (copied)
Plus with shingles, it's very definitely on one side of the body, not a diffuse rash. I've seen some folks with exactly 1/2 of their face affected by shingles, looks strange.

Considering you want to date little girls, you're being punished with a childhood sickness...

Sorry to hear that. I got the pox when I was a sophomore in college--worst illness ever that I could recall. Take Benadryl--I don't know if it helps with the itching, but it sure made me sleep thru it.
