Good idea. If it doesn't work out though, it's not the end of the world. I got $46.00 shipped for my very dead 256MB 6800 GT with dinged PCB on Ebay. I also flipped a few things on the FS/FT board and before you know it I had recouped the value of the dead card.

Also, a couple of years ago, my immaculate 9800 Pro died and I got over $100 for it on Ebay. Since your card is not physically damaged, people may fall over themselves to prove you "wrong." Many people want demo cards too for displays.

Just start your card at a $1.00, list it as inexplicably dead but in perfect condition, and see what happens.
